Background

Sand Promotions will showcase quality amateur and pro bouts while informing the community on how to assist ‘at risk’ youth. We want to promote hard work and discipline in and out of the ring, just like Columbus, MS native Henry Armstrong did during and after his world championship runs in professional boxing.

We welcome volunteers to work at our events. We also encourage financial sponsorships to assist in funding gear and traveling expenses (to amateur tournaments) for local youth who want to participate in amateur boxing and martial arts.
